My 4 stroke 125 is over revving.

I decided to set the carb to the settings stated in the manual but the idle revs are still running at about 2500 RPM, not the specified 1000-1500.

Any ideas what I can do?

Find the air leak,,,just get some wd40 and spray it all around the the carb and intakes ,,do this slowly with the bike running and when the revs go up you've found the leak.let us know bud
