3 1/2 first ride wow be sure you have a ful tank and maybe a backup can strapped to the bike .. be sure to check water and oil levels ect as old owners do not always top everything up ..... but sure on the ride home you will see what she can do and how well the engine is

Theres a few insurance companies out there, you'll just have to ring round and see which one suits your needs best, personaly I'd recommend Carole Nash, as they do Agreed Value Policy.
oh and when you ring up for a quote, and you tell them you keep it in a garage, also tell them that you park it out on the road during the daytime, as if you've told them you garage it, and it gets stolen from off the road at say 3.00 pm in the afternoon, you'll not get paid out, cost me about £30 pounds a year extra for that cover, but worth it in the long run.
Take some waterproofs for your trip on Sunday btw, its giving showers and rain.

hate comparison site,s and have found after getting a qoute you can save by going direct to the ins sites ...these comparison sites get paid or make a % that % £ has to come from somewhere ...?

I have always used http://www.bennetts.co.uk/?SRC=161855699&gclid=CIOR6cbA2rACFUdItAodBiQnaw and found them great
