not thought about the petrol resistance lol i'll have to try some on a test piece and see i reckon? funny thing is,the primer seems to work a little like high-build?
I've used it too and its pretty good. Only thing i've found is it can be a bit reactive when going over other paint finishes and ends up crazing. Never had any bother on bare metal though. The finish on those cases and airbox look spot on too.
love the white air box and engine ...althou wouldnt want the cleaning job ..are you gona or have you gone over with a good petrol resistant clear coat ?

haven't done it yet,but i'm going to. needs to be very jet wash/gunk resistant in all white
im tempted to be a copy cat and do the lanza engine white now lol how hard isit to sprey a engine? im scerd ill mess somet up or it will flake off and look horid
all i had was somewhere to hang it i just made sure the cases were clean. autosol and a green dish cloth to get rid of the surface corrosion, the washed them in fairy liquid and water. then rinse and dry well. mask off any holes in the cases,so the paint dont get inside (paint molecules destroy bearings)
the masking isnt too difficult. to close off the holes you just apply it in strips to seal it
and then trim it. you can use a scalpel or a file on the outer edge (i found a scalpel/stanly blade worked well)
the primer seems to take very well then i just used halfrauds appliance white over the top. dont know how it will last, but like i say its taken very well. probably gonna clear coat it too, added protection
