I go wrong 'cos I don't even cover the rear brake when wheelying. The problem I've got is that I'm too comfortable with the front of my foot on the pegs and not the middle of my foot..

Haha. I always wheelie too. If theres no cops around. And no traffic ahead. i pull it up in 2nd and shift and shift.

Thats really how i learn to wheelie xD cause ive been doing it every day for a long time, every time i have room to do it. And now that i have been getting better lately i usually go up to a remote place and just practice.

Carlos, what exhaust you using ? and do u have a working Powervalve ?.

I want a big sumo too next year.

And its basicly impossible to flip once you teach yourself to just push the rear brake when you fell yourself flipping.

I've got the powervalve pinned open, it's better for me and feels alot like the cr250 I used to ride offroad for some reason. Standard 3MB gutted exhaust, dep stubby rear pipe. I can literally lift the front under load in second if I give the handlebars a little tug :D

Oh, and I wanna go KTM, HUSKY, Husaberg or something like that next. Where I live, a guy comes past at roughly the same time everyday on a ccm 660, if I'm out working on the bike he gives me a little nod, blips the throttle and wheelies off up the road. Hero!

Haha ^^. Are you able to lift it up in 3rd too ?.

When i was learning the basics i didnt even shift. I lifted it up in seccond. tried to get it as high as possible and pump the gass. And then just focus on keeping or foot on the brake. Incase it goes wrong. when you feel like you can really do better than just seccond gear. When you feel like the seccond gear isnt long enough. Then start learning how to shift

If you find a slight uphill its alot easier to learn. cause then you can lift it up easier withouth the bike accelerating, and you loose alot of speed when you let go fo the throttle.

Its very nice to practice in a bit of a uphill just to learn how high you can go with the front wheel whitouth flipping, and learning how to use the brake so you dont flip.

Heres a vid of me maybe a month or more ago. This is in a slight uphill and im just using 2nd gear. Just learning how to keep it up. how high i can get it. The point of balance. and how to use the brake.
