i know but 10,000 rpm is 10,000 rpm with a 30mm or a 60mm stroke the pv opens at a certain rpm, the sell stroker kits and bore kits even for dt125r, i know that in very high performce tuning they would prime or delay it for a perfect set-up, this is where matey boy who used to run a 2stroke tuning company comes in, after the engines in and jettings right

Ok so u got it sorted ,I just thought ypvs is to give torque low down while still having top end power ,and as its a 200 maybe the valve don't need to turn as much to have low down grunt ,so if dtr servo turned (x degrees) at said rpm and dtwr servo turned (x degrees) at said rpm but was different then u will be losing power somewhere ,just something to consider

thats a good point about how many degrees, i have thought about this alot, now i am pretty sure the degrees would be the same since i have read other people fitting RD/ tzr 250, on wr's and, like you say the if the  valve doesn't rotate as mush as it should the extra displacement will take care of that as long as the valve fully openssmile

So fully closed would work and fully open would work if th dtr servo turns the same degrees lol but everything In between would be out of sync ,for instance if th valve had to be open 1/4 @ 7.5 rpm and the degrees was out it wouldn't be full power from the setup ,just tryin to help yer dude ,can't wait till its done

All the WR200 years/models have the same 3XP heads and 3XP barrels, and all have the same 4BF-85540-00 CDI's

The DT200's all had the same CDI's 3XP-85540-00 except for the 1993, which was 3XP-85540-01

3NC-85540-00-00 is the part number for the unrestricted 89 to 98 type cdi with built in YPVS controller no matter what year the bike is. As said some 97 and 98 cdi,s when the 3 wire servo was fitted standard on UK bikes seem a little bit reluctant to rev as free as the earlier type.

If you have a 99 2000 2001 with a cdi marked 3RM10 sling it it in the bin, ive never seen a 2002 2003 without a 3RM20 cdi on it yet though. These are about the best for the 99/2003 bikes.

The one that came off my dt was a 3nc something, rest of the numbers have rubbed off lol. But the bike definitely wants to rev more now I've got a 4dl cdi on it, although it still doesn't have the power which is why I think it might need up jetting. Definitely still has no chance of getting to 11k atm though!
