It wasn't that bad, was riding up cannock chase in the dark and turned into a car park at around 10mph. Over the years clearly the gravel from the car park has been spilled onto the road and no one has cleared it back - fine for cars but lethal for bikes. The rear end just slid completely with no warning.
Even walked up to it afterwards to see and it was like walking on marbels nearly fell over again Didn't help it was dark, if it was light I may have seen it and been able to avoid it.
Anyway my front fender and handguards and badly scratched, was planning on wet sanding them down and polishing them back up. Any advice on this? Got loads of grades of paper so going to see if I can make it any better but may need to get a drill attachment or something.
not a bad riding dude thats just back luck! wait till you ride about with me dude you'll see how **** i am hahahaha! im down cannock for 2 weeks end of next week dude!
That's nothing lol, should see the war wounds on my bike haha. If you're that bothered about it though I'd just get new one's tbh for the price of them.
Did the same thing on my husky once though, except it was like a mossy path, put the power on and the back end just slid round.
