Bad idea to race an ANPR car?

Think i'm gonig to recieve a letter through the post in the next 2 weeks courtesy of the West Mercia Constabulary!

Basically went for a blast with my brother and his mates

GSXR 750
2 x GSXR 1000
Fireblade
Ninja 636

Trying to keep up on a Dual carriageway and blasted passed an ANPR unit, realised when i was going past him at about 120 that it was an ANPR so i slowed down and he f'ed off to catch the other's which he did manage to do so there car's are pretty f'in rapid! followed them for a few miles, proper giving it the beans then f'ed off, but i thought if you where doing ridiculous speed's they have to pull you over as it's a straight ban 100+?

thoughts on this?

if they have a video camera in the car your fked lol but you could just say it wasn't you

It wasn't a static ANPR, maybe the guy had the camera turned off when i ripped past him? and his left me for dust and chased after the others? ill have to wait and see i guess, all fun and games tho init!

If the cams are not on all the time they would have seen the fastest fuccer and hopefully turned on the front cam first

Anpr= automatic number plate recognition...

Did they actually pull any of you over?

ANPR cameras are NOT safety cameras - i.e. they are not in place to catch speeding motorists. "

The cameras are on permanently on!!

What type of car?? Skoda, BMW, scooby?? I know the above link is different to your case but they are installed in the cara for a reason!!

something like this happened to my mate a while back, ended up getting a letter saying to goto the cop-shop and meet the officer and admit to what he was doing wrong, turns out the coppers camera wasnt working so there ended up being no evidence so my mate just told the copper to do1 (in a polite mannor) and got away scotch free after saying he was doing the speed limit - no cam = no ban.
