Linkage to frame
Permalink

Frame is now bare other than the final bit of linkage which I cannot budge. It appears to have a small bolt one side that screws in to the larger bolt section. Can anyone shed any light on removal? Access to it is only from an angle because of the frame so punching it out might damage it?

I read somewhere that someone left rusted parts or hard to remove parts in Coke. I think it was NEV.

It came out, i had to beat the hell out of it though. i screwed the small bolt in most of the way so i did not damage the internal thread and got it moving, then removed that and carried on.

I always get my blow tourch out and ROAST stuff like that. So satisfying when it turns or moves with ease while smoking. All good when you are replacing stuff, but half the time if it's that bad the bearings and bushes will be to.

Sure you damaged the linkage lol.Must have been some hits with the hammer lol. Looks like you need sleeves and bearing for the linkage. You will just have to get the genuine nut and bolt from yammy. Someone on here is selling a linkage yhough! Did you not cookthat son of a bitch before the hammer  and chizel ha ha.

na not the linkage just the bolt, the linkage is fine... dirty ... but fine. got a full bearing kit coming so thats not a issue. just want a new bolt coz the smaller inser bolt is pretty ducked.
