Nuetral switch and Oil light not working? :/
Permalink

So yeah picked bike up last night, just one issue, we couldn't get the nuetral light or oil light to work, connector going into the clocks was a little corroded so cleaned that up with WD40 and cotton buds/brush thingy but still no luck.

Indicator/hibeam lights work fine. Anyone have any ideas? They worked yesterday apparently lol....gotta be a connector somewhere right? Is there another one somewhere else on the frame for these on an RE?

I did see one wire that wasnt attached yesterday, above the sprocket, above and to the right or behind, somewhere round there

That'll be the wire going to the neutral switch there I reckon.

Hah, i'll check it out cheers, The oil light works, came on when the 2t tank was getting low so it's just the neutral.  :)

Neutral bolt is below and behind the sprocket, yours was nackered so we put mine on it, not sure if it was connected up though, thats where that wire probably goes
