Anyways, nordt, you should start practicing wheelies in 1st gear and parrying with the break, it's quite fun too :) Then you should start try turning while wheeling, that's what I'm trying to learn now, I can sometimes get a 90 degree turn would be really nice to be able to wheelie in circles :)
Nordt u crazy mother ****er! Lol hope u well soon dude, id prob check ur front forks maybe time for slighlty thicker fresh oil n new bushes could be the reason u got that dirty wobble wen u landed??
DTR bradders, My front forks is leaking. Both of the shockers are. So im thinking that might be some of the reason, But most of the reason was proboably that i was on my way to turn back to the middle of the road so my front wheel wasnt straight forward when i landed.
This is why i never want to wheelie. I also have extremely large nads and am quite partial to the correct quanties of oxygen entering my blood stream so will keep my front wheel firmly on the ground unless the back is following!
Good good good ,as soon as me ancle is all good im back out there ,and me wheel build can catch up ,then back out there pushin for th next lesson ,it's how we learn,Can't even start a kick starter ATM lolololol who's proppa ****ed now then lolololol
No not at all, I had alot more speed. And my bike started wobbling. If you search on youtube for motorcycle wobbling you will proboably find something. I tried to hold on to the bike and make it stop wobbling but it just got worse and worse and i fell off xD
Handlebars /steering ,oh and a tank slapper is when th bars slap Left and right and looks like there slapping the tank like this http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gxasTAtCFFE

the stupid thing is....when your in a tank slapper, you WANT to hold on and control it...... it only makes it worse let go of the bars and press on the rear brake progressivley harder. sounds stupid but it works had a KR1S back in the day,as well as an evil gsxr1100wp,both reknowned tank slappers, bastid things (both got written off by there next owners,i was proper lucky )
Hmm. I try to remember that next time, Thanks funkeymunkey ;)
And yeah its just a natural reaction to try to get it straight by steering. It was impossible. This has happened to me a coupple of times before in lower speeds, But it somehow always straightened itself out.
i learnt the hard way on a mk2 rd 125 (sixteen inch front wheel) by the time it slid down the road the 3rd time (just after the revs went mental normally) and it happened again i thought feck it. had nothing to lose you just have to force your arms to go loose and it'll become 2nd nature.... and your forks need fixing lol leaking seals = flexing = pain
haha yeah, Ill proboably get free from work a week or two, And my paycheck shows up on monday so ill have a week or two to fix it ;)
The DTX forks i got isnt in top shape, Their got stone splatter marks on them, thats what ruined the seals, Does anyone know if i can just put on the RE fork and put on the DTX wheels and brakes ?
