Just been offered a cylinder and head cheap, i asked about what model the head was as I'm after a 3mb and the lad said it was an r2 or 2r? Anyone know what that means? I'm thinking he either cant read or its from an old lc or something!
Yeah must mean a Y-2. I emailed yamaha Europe and they couldn't explain what that was and suggested it was just a manafacturing mark and not relevant to anything. It's the 3mb or 3bn that is important.
