Might get me some leathers soon, just so I can knee down and show off. Spending £££ on my DT project right now though. Coming back from the mechanic soon, his freeing up the pivot.
Bought some blue hoses and clips and what not for it. Going sick with the grinder again when I get it back, back to bare metal then spraying time. Waiting for some anti-rust primer. Didn't go down the route of powder-coaters. They cost money and the frame serials are harder to read, so I'll go over it with the grinder and just miss the serials, then get my dad to spray it for me.
The frames going black again, I don't want the next owner to know its been rebuilt, when it comes to selling in the future. And I like annoying the people who MOT my bikes. "Yes, I bought it like this, mint condition only used in summer!"
Don't be grinding the paint off the frame Boxing, get a wire wheel, and or a wire cup attachment for your grinderette, and maybe a wire wheel drill attachment, in different sizes (for awkward places), the grinding disc takes the metal from the frame as well as the paint, whereas the wire wheels just take the paint off.

What you said is actually the correct name for the grinder thing I'm using, lol.
Just couldn't be bothered to get the correct name for it from Google.
I'm a Plater/Welder by trade Boxing, and have been using 9" angle grinder and 4" grinderettes for over 35 years now, so am a fair bit familiar with them aye.
