Toy, if you need somewhere to store the Lanza if its all stripped down, those plastic greenhouses from Argos at about £20 are ideal, the 2x deeper ones are about £40 odd quid., I have that XT125 of mine all stripped down and in one, everything goes in, you might need some extra shelving for the little bits mind, but one of those £9-£10 Argos 6ft wooden shelving units you put together yourself, cut in half was good enough for mine. At least till you get your proper man den sorted out anyroad.

if its 8 foot by 10 foot, you'll need 20 2 foot by 2 foot slabs. at four inches thick you'll need 54 25kg bags of cement... or 1360 kg of cement. id be tempted to clear and level the ground and slab it mate. far more cost effective biggrin

We've got a 9x12 shed we got recently and put a concrete base down. If its a concrete base, its different for insurance purposes. I recently renewed and said its in a shed not a garage now, they said is the base conrete, if so it wont change as slong as its locked. Would cost money but might be something to think about. Try and build the actualy floor of the shed above the ground with some air space underneath too, gives it room to keep moisture out. I havnt yet but will probably buy a few of those cheap one use de humidifiers and put a couple inside. I use them in my room as i get alot of condensation, they hold a lot of moisture if you do get any in the shed.

I use a gazebo to cover from the rain and just store the bits inside, cheapest best solution imo

But if you want to go all out would spend more money to concrete it, but depends what your family says really

Sectional garage off ebay :)

With a concrete foundation for them to stand up, or slabs if you can put them down solid.

so what you thinking wood -brick- or metal ? the size sounds good a min of 10x8 as any smaller and your climbing over things and is hard to work .

I boult my 10 x 10 my self fast concrete base then med des concrete blocks not the best brick layer but hey it stands and do,s the job I also got some double upvc used doors of line and it soon became a summer house flat felt roof ect all in all cost me £300 and built in under a week .

the metal ones are cheap and great for a fast fix http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7057245/Trail/searchtext%3ESHED.htm try looking for a second hand one if possible always lods around even on ebay a cheap old wood one can soon be cleaned up repaird and painted to look great ?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p3984.m570.l1313&_nkw=shed+10+x+8&_sacat=0

the metal type are not to secure and lift of the ground easy so best to lay a concrete floor inside to hold it down for good  and ply  panel the inside .

good stuff they are ok but not the most secure . althou  they make a bloody noise if trying to break into . wood panel the inside is a must and some reinforcements on the back of the doors  to add better locks .. as just pushing the middle of the doors can bend them and pop them out of the runners ????

they are also very light  so put it up then pour a concrete base inside to fix it to the ground ... have seen un fixed down ones take off with strong winds and end up in other gardens .
