Main jet size

So taken the bike apart cleaned the carb and airfilter housing, taking the bike to get the mix looked at and possible rejeting. He asked me what her size was already in there, so when I got homes had a look, now the jet size is 240. And 175 is standard right? 240 is gonna be too big?

If your carb is a roundslide Shaun or a MIKUNI VM, it's as Toady says, a 3BN 1988 #125, doesn't give the size in the parts lists only the 137-14153-00 part number,
All the 3rm models 3RM1 1989 - 3RM9 1997 are flatslide Mikuni TM carbs and all use a #210 main jet, 3MB1 1989 -3MB3 1990 are again flatslide Mikuni TM Carbs,and have a #210 main jet,
1D01 2004-1D02 2005 both Mikuni flatslide TM Carbs, #210 main jet. so basically the VM roundslides were a smaller main jet, with the TM flatslides all #210.
