Nah, nah, nah, nah, fook the few hundred Andy, I picked up a whole bleedin bike with a v5 only two weeks ago, for £350 I've put up on here links to b ikes on gumtree, not far off the same price, aye you can pay hundreds if yer daft enough to, but only because of greedy cnuts trying to bump up the prices. you can get a cheap frame if you buy a £400-£500 field bike or nail with v5 and after stripping down to sell off parts frames actually cost around the £100-£150 mark plus a tidy little profit on top to boot. and before someone says that £400 - £500 bikes don't often come up, I'll be the first to agree, but they DO, you just have to be patient.

All very true. If you buy a whole bike you'll get the frame for alot less than buying it seperatly but if you're just looking for a frame with a v5 you'll be hard pushed to get one for less than 200 quid. If you break a running DT you'll get £1000 easily which is why there are so many being broken, that and them being stolen so much. Easy to post a frame too, not a whole bike. I keep seeing loads of field bike dt's that id buy if they were close enought o pick up but most seem to be in scotland! :(

Most of the field bikes are ground off numbers cases though. Or numbers but no reg which means DVLA will do diddly for you!

Fúck!

Why'd he need one with a V5? Just use his exsisting plate?

Restamp his numbers back onto the frame.
