gentelmen, im looking to buy some trousers for sole use of the bike.

have been looking at these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mens-Cargo-DuPont-Kevlar-Linned-Biker-Motorbike-Motorcycle-Trousers-Jeans-/110882790241?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Clothing&var=&hash=item19d1211b61

any other ideas, as i said for sole use of the bike and for dry road use only oh and the bottoms really if possible need to either fit over a shoei motox boot or thin enough to tuck inside the top of the boot.

cheers

Swim shorts, linen trousers or just a sparkly speedo i would reccomend.

But no, spend some good money on a good make, Rukka are a good one. You don't want to be sliding down the road wishing you had bought better quality. Money can be replaced, skin not so much.

If you're sliding down the road, the only thing you want is leather, jeans will burn straight through & textile will burn on to you're skin - trust me i know a thing or two about sliding down the road hahahaha

Mine only cost £40, very good completely wind / waterproof and well padded. Fell off twice now one was about a 20mph slide and only scuffs on them - only thing I would say is don't buy off the internet even if it means checking them out in a shop first

I wear mx trousers...get some like mine that have removable solid knee pad things. Also have hip pads...fairly wind and water proof...

Just whatever you feel comfy in...
