Problem loging on

Ay sure your not using the wrong password for your normal account easy mistake, If so/not you could try pressing the forgot password link which should be underneath and then that should generate a new password and send it to your email account which you used to join the forum?? That could sort it even if you didn't forget your password

Seems a shame to lose a good member over login issues, let's sort this out lads, who evers got seiki as a friend on fb perhaps let him know the situation and he may be able to sort it

Still cant seem to log in on my account, in my log in box is a face book sign and when I click on to the log in tag it offers to log in with my face book account that I do not and will not have , so does that mean that the site has changed or has my set up been F--ked up at this end , hope not as I am not very good with the w. stuff and am not allowed on her indoors laptop too much so need to sort it out , HELP admin please

It could be your internet browser then, try installing a new Internet free browser, here's some good ones, mozilla Firefox and google chrome, try again using one of them and it should work

i have the same box appear when i log in. just click the login at the bottom and it logs you in without facebook,despite the symbol being there?

Its your browser, i can 99% guarantee that, your a good member so here, hopefully some easy to follow instructions so you can access your old account

1. Click the link below:

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/

2. You will see a new page looking like this, click this green box which i have circled:

3. After clicking the link you will find that something will pop up looking like this:

4. Save the file, to do this the easiest way, select my desktop/ my documents and save it there

5. Find the file where you saved it, open it, run it, agree to the terms, keep pressing next and let the program install to your computer

6. once its finished you should be able to see it in the desktop, if not, select the start button on the desktop and look for mozilla firefox, click and you will be on a new browser where you can find the forum by searching dt125 activeboard in google and you should be able to log in with your old account, using your new browser :) if you need help, give me a shout, but im sure seiki wont be able to sort it, its your browser, im sure :)

Sorry but if I click on to the log in it comes up log in with face book and will not accept my user name or pass word the only way I can get on now is to use the account that I have set up ie Steady Eddy 1 in the wife's facebook thing which is now the only way I can get on all I need to know is is there a way of getting rid of the Face book crap or is it that it is now to be the only way to use the site , I find it a bit off that every one that wants to use the sit HAS to have a Facebook account , I have had a problem with Facebook and am adamant that I WILL NOT HAVE it on MY set up, the wife has it and she can KEEP IT even though she has let me come on using her set up that is not for long term regular use so if I can not sort it out, I will be standing down and as said very sad if that is to be the case , as I have enjoyed the banter and found the help that you lads have given me to be spot on ,

The Facebook thing is just an extra option and doesn't mean you need to have an account to log, i'd never set the site that way.

I checked your account and nothing's changed so it has to be your cookies or something after you tried the first time. I've never logged in with the Facebook option as I don't use my account either.

Like I said try a different browser, should work then Google Chrome Mozilla etc, that should solve it

If you're using Internet Explorer then I'm not surprised you are having problems. IE is terrible!

well that is not what is happening for me it used to log strait in but I logged out and after that it would not let me in with out Facebook , can you tell me Seiki when did the Facebook thing go live in the info bit it says it has gone live but there is no date on the post so cant tell how old it is , but at the end of the day the result is the same I cant get on in the old way so looks like that's it , I am no good at all the gizmo wizardry stuff so back seat for me I am afraid

What exactly is it saying when it doesn't let you log in? if your putting in your username and password right there should be no problems??

The facebook things been there a few weeks now man, it doesnt allow me to disable it either unfortunately. Like suggested i'm almost 100% it's your browser also. If the above advice doesnt work then we'll try something different.
