Got these forks out to clean ready to put on the yokes just got but noticed loads of empty bolt holes so I'm gutted any body no what goes in these holes info will be much appreciated cheers
not seen the 4 holes before? lol defo need the yz spindle to fit the dt wheel you'll need to change the bearings to suit the bigger yz spindle.... possibly need different spacers too... ps your a lucky bleeder lol i missed out on bidding for those yokes! 99p they went for didn't they?
Yeah 99p thought I might as well so still got far to go on these then. got this spindle ses it got spacer with it to just hope it fits just need bearings then to find sum 1 to modify my yoke for the dt
have you got digital calipers? you need to measure the spindle for inside diameter,the wheel for the outer diameter and the dt bearings for the width... then order them off simply bearings
Like I said currently my engineer is making up all the parts. But Wemoto have sent me the wrong taper bearings. After them not arriving to start with 10 days later I complain. 4 days later They sent out a new one. AND IT's THE WRONG FÚCKING BEARING! Unbelievable.
i ordered my bearing. put it in my shed. came to do the conversion. couldn't find the fecking bearing..... tore the shed inside out,i mean all of it outside on the lawn. never did find the fecking thing
Ok we'll I think il wait till u do urs coz I orderd the rong spindal anyway so plenty of time and might of got the yoke wrong aswell forks from 1993 apparently and yokes 2004 what u think
these look like 1991/2 yz 125/250 forks looks identical to mine a dt spindle fits as they are the same spindle form the dt also used is some older xt 500's if i remember correctly, i have np;ted a 21 inch dt 125 wheel but with no spacers but my supermoto wheels fit init but the calliper mount is wrong. init but the yz wheel in my forks look the same as the dt wheel even the disk bolts have that same 2by2by2 pattern.
that 4 holes you bolt this plate into it your sopost to run the brake line throw it then up the front of the protectors.
Ok sounds good I have to wait till next week to find out if they fit and I need forks serviced as well bit bouncy probably not cost affective but fuk it they look to good not to
im going to be changing the oil and seals in my and well building one good set from 2 pairs lol but im going to a place called omc up london you basicaly rend a bench and tool's and do it yourself so i can learn how to do it without geting charged £40 a fork from some rip off shop
Fukin things don't fit together so got sum yz forks and yz yokes and they don't fit together noooooooooooooo what a waste ill have to give it another go getting forks or yoke oh well
are they not 2003 onwards yokes? think bradders needs a set that size,and he has the set of yokes you need? worth a quick ask/swap. fair exchange is no robbery and all that
