Just a bit confused about the lifesavers couldn't find any information regarding this on the interwebs
When setting off, check both mirrors but do you need a lifesaver - if so what side? I would have thought not as there is no change of direction, unless maybe you have been sat at some red lights for ages but everyone I asked has different opinions
Mirrors then quick look left, then right before setting off, not a full lifesaver, you do the same when entering a different speed limit zone, when changing lane (only one way depending on the lane your going into) etc
Lifesavers are used when parked up and wanting to set off again, when your on a roundabout and changing lanes and when exiting the roundabout and when your turning off at a junction just before you make the turn :)
Yup what Reefy said, make sure you're doing your little check's when entering diff speed zones, he will take you through a 30/40 & national, also remember the estate where the center is, is a 30 or 40 zone i canee remember but theres a sign somewhere which says what it is when you enter as its an industrial estate i've got a vid of me blasting it somewhere.....
About 30 sec's in i go into the Estate where the test center is 1:13 you'd take a l/h turn which would take you to the test center then you'll leave off into a housing estate which is all a 30 zone then he will take you up a dual carriageway for 60, then a few country lanes, then back onto the 30 zone through into the industrial estate again to finish off
