Finally some good news about my DT!!!!

So today at exactly 15:25 the guy who has my DT in his shop gave me the phone call I'd been waiting for! the air was tense, my heart beat started going crazy then he softly spoke the most amazing words ever to me! turns out my forks are completely fine including my bearing! seems the fork might of just needed to be tightend up! the MOT tester has been round looking at another bike in the shop an while he was there he had a quick look at mine! I was nervous at this point my legs were trembling with fear! the MOT tester looked round the bike an gave me near enough the all clear! just need to get my self a new set of tyres! so hopefully next week I will be able to get my self some decent tyres a speedo cable an then I can get them to shop an get them on the bike!! then the spark is wiring it all up next week so I will definitly have the bike back by the end of this month!! if not earlier!!! depending on how quick I can get the stuff!!!

I've already got fat bars on it at the moment like so if I got for twin walls I'll have to get different clamps! then I've gotta decide what color I want! haha an naa I like the wheels that are on it now! the guy who's doing the bike for me also does paintwork an that so in a few months time when I have the cash I'll try get a second set of dt wheels throw them on then send mine away to get all blinged up!! I'm thinking gold rims with red hubs!!

EXPENSIVE!

Get it spoked with stainless steel spokes. It'll look really nice.

It would look really sweet with excels with fat knobblys.

Coulda swore my twin walls were the same 28mm diameter as the Fatboy Handlebars, if so,  you can use use the same converter

Bike going back on the road ?? then first thing to get is a good set of THERMALS its a chilly breeze coming in off that Irish Sea m8 , I will be over your way on Sunday doing a Isle of Man marshals training day down at the St Johns HQ , a long day but worth it have to be there for 8.30 till about 4.30 best part of a 2hr drive to get there and then same back home makes for a long day , but hey isn't it great when you get good news like that about your bike, the world seems a whole lot nicer place for a day or two but oh that silly grin on your face is a dead give away lol

not just different colours for twin walls, theres all different widths, heights, risers, all coded for personal preference, i went for the Carmichael ones as they are wider and higher than most.forget the code, 997 i reckon

depends if you are tall or not, higher the bar means you sit upright more not slouched over, fooker if you suffer from bad nine ten jack.

if your going to be going offroad dont put mirrors on ull only snap them off and maybe even snap the clutch or master cylinder bracket along with it lol get some bar end mirrors and fit them under your bars works nicely =]
