I'll be getting one of those locks myself in the neat future. My new yokes don't have a steering lock. Probably for the best. False economy those!

this is the xzz6l i had for months and months befor it snaped in half they replaced it with a xx10 its huge but it only fits on the front disk  the xx10 cost's around £60 i think myself if i would of had to replace it myself i would of got the xx6 as it will fit front and back of the disk and looks alot stronger then the xzz6l

Just a little update for anyone wanting one in the future

The 6mm locking pin on the xx6 does fit on the rear disc but it may be worth getting the non alarmed 10mm other cheaper version for the rear as the alarm can keep being cut by pulling the alarm more away from the disc, otherwise its worth having

Xx10 fits onto the front dtr disc too, still waiting for bike to come back to see if it fits onto the dtx oversized disc

Got the xxa-150 too so that i can use the xx10 or xx6 series and the provided loop cable lock to secure it to something like a lampost for example, lil bit more security on top of everything I have... (anyone knowing what else i got no mentioning of it please :) )

Use a thick chain, get an alarm for your bike, job jobbed. Don't use disc brakes, they're useless if a gang comes with a van or a couple of tools its gone. To get my bike, they need a grinder to get the locks off, even then it has no engine right now.

No. Disc lock. Chain lock. And alarm. And anything else you can't get youR hands on! If they want It, they'll get!

Alarm, big good quality lock, and chain it to a lamp post or something fixed like a lamp post and they'll have a big task nicking it. I live in a council area, if I need to go shop I just travel to a posher side of Leicester and get what I need there, reduces the chances of it being nicked in that area significantly. Fitting an alarm soon.

Cheers mate ;) but Like I said earlier in the thread mate these disc locks are on top of everything else I have and the people which know what some of the other things i have please not do not mention any of them ;) for security reasons obviously
