How hard would a number plate light be to wire up?

thinking about getting something like this

would it be hard to wire up so when you turn the ignition it comes on and stays on?

i need it for my mot in feburary 

i dont have a branded tail tidy just looks like a bent bit of metal but its sturdy and sits well so i intend to keep it, thanks

I then moved it cause I bought a tailtidy

 

It now lights up my oil bottle.

That comes on when the ignition is turned on.

I just used the existing numberplate light wires.

They come standard on the RE. Obviously someone has removed it however the wires should still be there. Just find it and reconnect it. Two second job.

Yeah didn't think about that, hope they haven't been cut back so I can't wire a light back up

Nah, It'll still be there. Somewhere. Just follow it back. Should meet with the indicator wires in a bundle there.
