Yeah I rode throughout last winter, including in the snow once. Its a good laugh riding in the snow but you got to be proper careful, admittedly I did stack once as i didn't realize the steep private road i was heading into had like 4ft of snow ;) it just slid out haha
but as for the ice that's not as bad, just once again be careful, especially in the mornings and the evenings as that's obviously when ice is normally present
I would if I had to, use to ride to sixth form until it literally iced over over for 3 weeks a few years so my only other option was walk for an hour or cycle so may as well
Now I have no where to go that I can't get to on the train or walk so haven't bothered
Been out loads this year in the Ice,it's the only thing that made some of the lanes rideable coz its frozen hard,mind those puddles tho ha ha some still look like their water lol oops.
Even on a dry day tho when nighttime comes you get this sheen on th roads and all th spilt oil rises to the surface,I was being real careful on this round about and all of a sudden both tyres let go and I was lucky to save it
Once ur off road tho it's great fun,does take about 4 times longer to stop
did it last year/begining of this year was ok not as gd as i thought itll be tbh. untouched snow it gd but wen it gets compacted the knobblies cant dig into it so jus like riding on ice jus slippery as ****.
i will be out this winter but only when its not raining or snowing or icey or below 12 degrees or to windy or not enough wind or to dark or to bright, but all the other days i will be out there braving the weather.
2 years of snow riding under my belt now both wicked fun btw anyone with a jack up kit take it off one thing i got sick of was trying to put my feet down and cant cos i cant reach the floor haha

worked in the snow to fit knobbilys
i started at around 12pm and finished at around 6 am lol to dam cold had to go in and warm up ever 20 mins hahah
That was the most fun week I've probably ever had on a bike lol, think I rode everywhere spinning the back wheel up going sideways, couldn't fall off the thing either lol.
Once ur off road tho it's great fun,does take about 4 times longer to stop
