For reliability it's best just to use the white powerbands. The white one kicks in at about 4k rpm rand dies at about 8. The other end of the scale is the black powerbands. Kicks in st 8 all the way to 13k.
Yeah true, friend of mine has white one in his bike and it's never missed a beat! thing is tho it's just dies after 8k rpm! it's like it's got nothing else to give! and the black has nothing to give

I've just installed the titanium power band on mine (new prototype that Yamaha racing asked me to test for them). It's so quick now, pulls like a train! Wheelies in every gear, even reverse.
Sounds pretty decent that gadge lad!!! and SGT!! how on earth did you manage to pull that off with Yam?? been trying to test their products since I had a pw80!!

Well you know mate, they saw me doing a track day and asked me to join Yamaha in moto gp...not my thing so I said no. I just did a few tune ups on their bike for them and theyve been asking my advice and stuff ever since. Thats why Rossi went back...
And really? sounds mad but that's actually quite a good idea! also heard pouring a can of monster energy into your fuel system helps as well is that true?

Nah that's bollocks mate, what you need is cow and gate baby follow-on milk powder. It's like ticket fuel
There are some other restrictions you can remove on a dt too. the eu makes Yamaha restrict the bikes! There's this fuel restrictive thing called a carburettor. If you remove it and just connect a hose direct from the fuel tank to the cylinder you get maximum fuel surge
