The Red ones are the best I've found anyroad, you can get them off this site here, along with some other really useful modding/tuning stuff.

For reliability it's best just to use the white powerbands. The white one kicks in at about 4k rpm rand dies at about 8. The other end of the scale is the black powerbands. Kicks in st 8 all the way to 13k.

It's all about how you ride your bike really.

I've just installed the titanium power band on mine (new prototype that Yamaha racing asked me to test for them). It's so quick now, pulls like a train! Wheelies in every gear, even reverse.

Well you know mate, they saw me doing a track day and asked me to join Yamaha in moto gp...not my thing so I said no. I just did a few tune ups on their bike for them and theyve been asking my advice and stuff ever since. Thats why Rossi went back...

Yea all the lads round here use me to tune their bikes up, got my mates Honda 50 cub to do 160 odd with a few of my old tricks.

If you want crazy performance you should put some moss on top of your piston. The springyness of the moss bounces the piston faster

Bloody hell 160 on a cub 50!! that's scary!!

And really? sounds mad but that's actually quite a good idea! also heard pouring a can of monster energy into your fuel system helps as well is that true?

Nah that's bollocks mate, what you need is cow and gate baby follow-on milk powder. It's like ticket fuel

There are some other restrictions you can remove on a dt too. the eu makes Yamaha restrict the bikes! There's this fuel restrictive thing called a carburettor. If you remove it and just connect a hose direct from the fuel tank to the cylinder you get maximum fuel surge
