firstly ill get what alterations iv done out of the way, got all the loom then the brown indicator wire seemed to be contant live. right side indys constanly on dimm whether the swich was on or off but they still worked.
so iv had to incorperate a few wires in to the loom looping the rear indys to the front ones an now thats all good. so thats changes iv made out of the way.
Im left with the issues that theres no switchable power when i turn the ignition until the engines started. tried a fully charged battery to so its not that.
also the lights switch doesnt turn the rear light on and off but does the front . the lights on contstant well the engines running too and when i rev hard then the brake light doesnt function because the led tail gets so bright at about 6000rpm it looks like iv pressed the brake ?
frames earthed good iv even copied the good working loom of the other dt
any electrical wizard with any workarounds out there your help would be appreciated right now please
got me baffled ?

cheers nev yeah its real strange cant find anything wrong its not even as if its a difficult wiring system there seems to be no current coming out of or into the ignition barrel when i checked it with a multimeter iv been using that diagram like it was my god saviour nev cheers for puttin that up there will double back an check on the brown wire tho cos i thought that was an indicator wire but even then its only contstant still while the engines running not after i turn the key
if the rear lights are supposed to be o nconstantly when the engines runnin then it isnt an issue its my other dt thats wrong in the first place. ? an my other dt turns on an off at the switchgear with the engine runnin an i also get brake lights once the keys turned somthing that doesnt seem to be happening on this one
callum so your lights dont switch off on the handlebear switch while the engines runnin is that right
baffled cos the looms not even cut n shut or anything

Just read through Trip, and Brown is switchable live, as in its live when the key in ignition is turned on, have you by any chance run a brown wire to constant live(red) somehow? Have a butchers at the re-mapped wiring loom I put up in Electrics thread, see if that helps you any?
haha about right for me iv got a feeling for weeks iv been barking up the wrong tree trying to get a back light to turn of that shouldnt turn off haa cheers m8 saved me some hair
i havnt mate my one was always cut so its just a pile of connected wires on my other but your probably right there ,ill have to ask deeteemx on that one its a brand new one but he did say aftermarket all the wires are the same colours tho on the connector blocks but it could be faulty then cant cross that off its worth checking out. its not needed unless i want to run a servo system with the cleaning cycle i just wanted the digital clocks to light up off the key really.
you dont know which wire i should be checking for current. going up an into the ignition barrel do you nev thatll tell me if the ignitions faulty
nice on yeah i thought the same just needed it clarfied ,so the ignition maybe all good then and yeah theres no current on the red wire before i even get to the ignition so next plan is to have a think on why thats not got power
