If I was to fit a polisport halo headlight, would I need that subframe? I know the regulator fits on it but I can surely put that somewhere else?

Is subframe only needed for standard cowling?

Cheers

I have subframe just the 2 brackets where the originnal cowling fitted have broken off? C an you explain where it's needed Please as I was under belief that they just fasten to the forks? I've seen other pics on dt's where it doesn't look like it fastens on anything else? Confused????
