there was nothing i could do i reported it to ebay tried to get a viewing. and then it sold rang the police they dint give a **** just told me not to get in a confrontational position with them so with no address and no full names then im ****ed calum what was your bright idea?
Should of just put in a really high bid, won it and gone round with an army of mates lol. **** what's happened though man, too many low lifes in the world
Well we said straight away be sure it's your bike before making allegations.
I read the messages he seemed to want to help. From his point of view you could be a some randomer wanting to get a free bike.
I wouldn't have said anything. I would have uploaded some photos on here so we all could have a look. Like we asked.
I would have sounded genuine, like many have said previous, I would have arranged to have a viewing. Checked the bike out. Keeping positive. Then tell him you've got two more bikes to see but you like what you've seen.
Taken photos when you were there. Made a complete case out of it have pictures of the bike in your ownership and the photos you've taken. Get so much information that it's no way possible that the police could have ignored it then gone to the police with it.
Far better than running your mouth and scaring the seller into not disclosing his address. After all if that were me that had bought the bike and you said to me it was stolen I wouldn't have given you the time of day.
In approaching it how you did, there was no way you would of got it back. When you were telling him it was your bike you didn't seem to give anything to convince him it was like what has already been suggested.
If I was selling a bike and someone made those sort of allegations but couldn't justify them I would probably think this guys trying to get a free bike as well.
