It's annoying int it, very comon aswel with th dtr's someone must have needed to dry theirs out before ,sealing it's not realy a prob ??? ,I spose that'll teach me not to go hacking up the middle of rivers this shouldn't be a prob on a duel sport bike anyone fitted a different coil ?? And solved this (yz coil maybe) ,or is it just coz of where it's bolted on the dt,

the pitbike ones are pretty waterproof (the single bolt ones) they work just as good, giving the same spark, if not better.

i usually buy some 12mm blue heatshrink and go over the ht lead aswell, making it abit more protected and then they have a rubber cover and seal to go over it too

never had one conk out on me

There is also a spray you can get that waterfroofs stuff like coils, etc, I used to use it back in the good old days when cars had distributor caps.

9k then spluttering? i had this i thought it was cause bradders forgot to put the rubber bits on the end of my spark plug caps.

Do the coils get wet then? This is the ignition coil right?
