Front Hub cracked at speedo side, Help and advice needed, pics inside

Well had my first major set back today. After warming the hub up and tapping my frozen bearing in, With a 3oz hammer I might add. The hub cracked. The wheels have just been freshly powdercoated adding more pain to the situation.

Im not sure but I think it is the part that drives the speedo cable. It is only cracked where the thin metal is and not down in the bearing housing. I have stopped working on it till I can get some good advice.

If they cure the powder too hot it can weaken Ali ,1: did it crack coz the bearing was tight or wonky ??? Or 2:coz u hit wheel wiv hammer ??? 3: Do you have the part number of new bearings you used (on the box lol) , 4: did u hear it snap or just see it when it was done

Thanks for the reply ,Basically I had the bearing going in flush and when it was flush with the lip I hit it and it cracked not hard mind. Really annoying but as I am aware it is not a load bearing part so I am going to put my bearing in and fill the crack with araldite. From what I can tell the only purpose of this lip is to turn the speedo?

Also it was the bearing I removed prior to powdercoating.

Youre right, it's only to drive the speedo.

I have got it solid with packing the crack withe araldite. Not ideal but I will keep an eye on it and inspect the wheel after a hundered miles. Will make sure I hit a few bumps.
