it turned a blue colour like titanium lol should harden it if anything? fitted back to the ali section no worries so we'll see
would only harden it if u got it to a specific temp around 600 odd degrees i think then quench it in a bucket of cold water, then heat it up a 2nd time not as hot to relive the stresses caused the first time round
urll be alright tho barely any stress on the pipe anyway, gd idea tho least the carbon is now gone! lol
