Just had my ebay pattern exhaust blasted thought seens as its spare n got powercoating setup at work might give it a try. Any1 tried before or anyone know what kind of temp the down pipe gets too

I wouldn't have thought it would last mate.

Best thing you can do is do what most have done. Get yourself some hammerite gloss or matte black heat resistive paint. I done it to my spare exhaust and it looked pretty good. Well look like it just came out the shop which was nice. Cheap too at £10 a can. Will do loads of coats should it eventually wear off

i would Imagen it would work tbh

to set power coast you have to heat it up to a mega temp so id Imagen it would withstand the heat

Ive got 4 exhausts lol just doing it out of curiousity tbh ye i use bbq paint its quite good but can only get it in matt black fancy a change. You heat the powder up to 185'c for 38mins surely the exhaust can handle that the question is weather itll melt off or not it takes over 200'c to start to melt once bonded

You can get gloss black! I'm sure ie seen people on here with gloss

Would work.I have had the compressor end of a turbo powdercoated red before and it's hotter than a dt125r exhaust, chrome powdercoated looks sick, or black chrome
