Just put up a map site for  the forum members in here, on the Meets and Regions thread, so that we all have an idea where we all are in the UK, It seems to be working so far, although for some reason the previous member to add on there leaves their 'add member' box up.

See what you reckon for yourselves.

Aye avoid putting in your post code, In the original thread on the  'Meets and Regions' I put this up,

" Just trying to sort out a group map of where UK members are roughly located, just go to the 'additions' tag then click on the add 'marker simple', to put in your location, there's no need to put exact address just a rough guide as to where you are located in the UK. "

What is it with the bl--dy cosmos crap some thing else that I cant get to work , the other thing that bothers me is some body put there post code in and it shows up on the map if you click on to the marker , bit of an advert to scumbags where to go looking for DT's ??? Carl Bets think you need to edit your input if you can ,

Yeah. Systems open to abuse. Such a shame. Just do the neighbouring postcode.

It's nice to get an idea where everyone is though.

Use to live in North Devon for 9 years or so, placed called ilfracombe, Probably move back down there once I've sorted my education and sorted out a job down that way, in terms of biking and driving roads are so much more open and nice bendy roads throughout and so many places to go Greenlaning + there's a farmer up the road which made an enduro track for everyone years back, 5er for the whole day which is pretty decent, and as there isn't too much to down that way most people are into the cars and bikes and always out, it's pretty decent

It's already stickied in the 'Meets and Regions ' section Eddy, but doubt it will hurt to sticky this one too, see your up by Ripon, Eddy, used to go up to Reeth a fair bit as a lad, did a fair bit of walking up that way, and potholing, Gaping Gill, Buttertubs etc

Although thinking about it Eddy, everyone and their dog can see the forum members map in 'General' thread, whereas only members of this forum can see it in the Meets and Regions thread, infact just now checked the 'Meets and Regions' thread, and I've noticed that thread is also open to non members of the forum, so seeing as I still can't start a private message, can someone P.M Seiki, and ask him if the 'Meets & Regions' thread can be made for full forum members only please, cheers!

Beautiful part of the world Nev , my back yard up the Dales , but you can have that going under them it's not for me , went down the one at Ingleton many years ago and for all it was nice to see all the stalactites or what ever it is you call them ,  it was too claustrophobic for me I will stay topside thank you very much , as for visiters seeing the map as long as it does not show your post codes , it could encourage new members if they thought some one lived not far away from them , just a thought
