if you go on that link, item number 19

 

it doesnt have the little attachment hole on it like the dtre/dtx newer models have, so should provide a bit more performance (i know itll only be a small gain)

 

would this item be a straight swap and go on easily?

well the bottle on the dtre/x is thought to be a restriction and is blocked off, so fitting that might do something altho probably not noticeable, would look better too!

think he means the carb boot not snorkel callum, altho fitting a dt230 snorkel is supposed to be better isnt it?

i meant the carb boot yeah sorry, not the snorkel, ive removed the snorkel alltogether

True. I never went on the link. I just read the topic.

Removing the snorkel gives no benefit to a standard dtr other than the fact you hear the induction noise.

The 'performance gain' is most likely a placebo effect !
