Has anyone used the BR9EG competition spark plug in a dt? which is the competition version of the standard BR9ES

What is the difference between the two? advantages and disadvantages?

Have the same Iridium plug that's in the DTR, also in the 4DL engine in the hybrid, both seem to run well, cant remember if it's an 8 or a 9 off hand though.

I'm running the 4DL plug and it's a little lumpy to tell you the truth. I think the 4DL is the 9 and the dtr is the 8.

NEV is it okay to run the 8 with the tzr cylinder.

Dunno Cal, I have the Iridium plug in, the difference between the 8 and 9 is ones a hotter plug than the other, the 8 being the hotter plug IIRC. must say I'm big fan of iridium plugs, I have 6 in the Lexus, and that runs a treat on both LPG and petrol.
