I've seen reviews and they're pretty good. Personally I'd rather have one of these over the hero I think. I think in terms of styling they look better.

I really wouldn't know. Usually they're like £300 new. About £150 used.
I wouldn't pay more than £80 if I couldn't test it. That way you say it with the same label for £80 and cut your losses.

if i were selling a camera id buy a battery and sell as working. Seems very odd. See if you can borrow a battery from someone and test it before buying. I bought the go pro hero hd 2 last year. still never used on a helmet but used snorkelling a few times ( out of focus underwater, known problem ) but awesome in good light and using my editing software can mimick 1000fps ( super slow motion) as it records at 720p 120fps. You may be able to pick one of those up cheaper now the 3 is out. I went for that as its the one always used by TV which generally means its going to give the best results.

ive got a gopro hd hero 2 and cant fault it, video quality is amazing and the sound isnt too bad either considering its inside a waterproof case, battery life could be abit longer but a spare battery is cheap, ive seen videos on the contour and it is very good

theres a camera called the AEE magicam camera i think, which is extremely similar to the gopro but much cheaper, you get the lcd bacpac and remote control included and it also has a laser point which i thought was a great idea, never seen footage from it though, but i think its around £120 new
