alot go on rear section of the frame aswell, as they get all the **** thrown at them, would be ok if all the bolts wer lashed in copper grease.. y the **** they bolt them up dry i do not know.
Annoying but they do it deliberately to keep costs down. The DT would start at something stupid like £5k if they used quality parts everywhere. It only bothers enthusiasts like us.
I got the star ones off by using a hacksaw and cutting slots in them. Tonight I am measuring all my engine bolts and replacing every star head for Allen. There isn't an original crappy screw head left on my bike.
