Turns out im taking a suzuki dr650 for a test blat on monday. My little friend at yamaha wants to sell up.. ill grt pictures ;)

u say that but the moment you lump on a 600+ then get back on the dt the dt feels **** even if youv spend hundreds onit

Oh yeah.

More of a reason I don't want a bigger bike. My DT will feel poo. But for me it's not the power. It never will be. It's the freedom that you get when you're on a bike. You can't describe it but it's there.

i know what you mean but the freedom really isn't as verse as it is with a big bike its why i want a big bike i want to do long distance something the dt doesnt cope with to well =]

Nah the DT is for pottering around town and a hot sunny day IMO.

For long journeys I'd rather a car. That's just me though. Got my Car license. Seemed more practical

Ha. I don't need a license for a blat off road! And it'll have trade plates on so if I fancy a quick tear up the dual carriageway then no one will bat an eyelid. If I can find my go pro I'll get a cheeky onboard :)

Different bike for all occasions DT for Fun Fun Fun two up touring I will stick with the ST1100 for round town C90 for fast blast blow the cobwebs out Blade Gixer zx Duke MV how deep is your pocket , but hang on to them DT's they are a little gem

Just some quick snaps of the animal..

Was an absolute animal to ride, lifting in 1st, 2nd and 3rd easily. Been rejetted and remapped apparantly. So much fun to ride and sadly made the DT feel like a little 50cc when I got back on it :(
