Okay first things first I'd suggest you go and introduce yourself to everyone on the forum by making a post on the newbie section, would put you on better terms with everyone, rather than just jumping straight in and asking question. That way you'd get a much better response from us all

Welcome. If I were you get the head and the cylinder off. Get a piece of good glass and some 800 grit wet and dry. Spray some wd40 on and rub the bottom Of the head and the top of the cylinder in a figure of eight till both are perfectly smooth and get a couple of new good quality gaskets. If you can't be arsed doing that take it to the local yammy stealers and bend over he he!

hi and welcome to the forum.

the guys ask above for you to show intrest in the forum by saying hi first in the newbie section as we get a lot of guys join like this ask one qestion then never return or say thanx or tell us if what we said sorted the problem ..

now imagine some one googling the same problem finds this post and thinks yes I found the problem and fix only to read on and see you may have never posted that it was fixed or what caused it .

now first things first make model and year of bike - whats the code on the side of the barrell/head . and can you see 100% where the water is comeing from .

look in your radiator water also and signs of oil or milky white liquid ?

are you haveing to top up the water all the time ?

I suggest you do not ride it you say you can nail it after a few mins lol that will be cus everything heats up and expands kinda stoping the leak or closing the crack for a short time or even just turning the water to steam so you no longer notice it but I asure you at some point you will notice and by then it will be to late.

your engine is going to blow at the moment you have a small gasket or head problem that could be sorted or fixed but still rideing it is crazy as you are going to end up very soon needing a new head-barrell ande maybe full rebuild .

get the head of now loads of how to do this in other forum sections
