How convenient, just got bike out after 3 months.

Can literally hear it from home, might venture over later or tomorrow so might see me in carpark

I got a message on YouTube asking if i'd like to display my bike in the readers display section or whatever. Funk that just means tons of teens flooding it by touching it up

Do you know in all my years of being a two wheeled junkie , I have never been to a motorcycle show , and cant much see that I would want to , traipsing round looking at things I cant afford just does not appeal to me and never has , and to PAY to do it is just not Yorkshire at all

Just a cheap one seiki...its an mjk f39 counter rotor...gf has banned me from trying to fly it in the house so pretty excited to play tomoz!

Yeah I kinda get what you mean eddy, I got in free so meh, last year was cool - sat on the new ducati panigale the day afer it was unveiled and saw some other cool things. This years bikes were a bit dull.

Some great classic and custom bikes there though...including Goose's kwak from mad max :)

funny you know when you pick them up out of the gravel trap they are much like any other sports bike just that the riders cry more at the expense of the damage

Don't really get what you are saying...but okay. From my perspective (I don't own a Panigale nor intend too, so I shant be picking one out of a gravel trap any time soon), I found it enjoyable. The aesthetics of the thing are superb regardless of its function - it just so happens that its got some great bits of engineering on it that I, as a petrol head, enjoyed. Like I said, it cost me nothing, I saw some great unique and classic bikes, I got some great photos and saw some people I haven't done for a while...so all in all it was a nice day. Just depends on how you approach the event I guess..

just not a big Duke lover and when I am marshaling and one ends up in bits in the kitty litter as we call it ( the Gravel trap ) they are much like the rest , I did not like it when they were crying for a bigger engine coss they were not winning , for years they were allowed to use up to a 1000 twin against 750 fours ?? why ?? it should have all ways been one size fits all if a twin cant compete with a four then it is time to try some thing else they had to in the end , no Italian cry baby's in my mind , still a nice bike to ride not been on the new ones the last one I rode was the 999 , there is some thing about a big twin just don't cry when you get blown off Ha Ha

Hmm ill admit they have had some misses...the 999 for example was ****, the 1098 wasnt great either. The Panigale however is brilliant....they even fitted a wet clutch! Everything is in the right place and its fairly comfortable! My old man has a 916 and 996 and I adore them. Noisy as fook, and just built to go fast and move the soul...I rode the 996 the other day - its uncomfy, everything is in the wrong place, the turning circle is crap, the kickstand is stupid, its vibey, the dry clutch is snatchy and hopeless in traffic, the electrics always fail and they get nicked....but there's just something about it.. cant explain - he has a 1000 gixxer too but I have no desire to have one. I like the old gsxr's though. Just the noise and pantomime of a Ducati is what I love, to me I think they are the Lambo's of the bike world - never the fastest or class leading, but always fun and a bit ridiculous. The noise is just something else, the v-twin is just insane with terminogi pipes....and the dry clutch rattle! There is something to be said for a bike that when you start makes the ground shake and sounds like a bag of spanners. Yes im odd...

Ye like I said some thing about a twin , take the Yank bag of crap ?? hear one coming round't corner and hate them as much as you like ,you cant help but have a look, the 999 as you say was not the best of the bunch but I have to admit I did enjoy the ride them race pipes helped , the 1198 is waiting to be road tested soon and I will not turn it down , when it comes to bikes I am a two faced bitch, I WILL do a Nath I will throw my leg over any thing I can get my hands on , in all my endevers the Fat Ba--ard Yank is the only one that I wold NOT want a repeat on , no thank you , rather have a Honda melody or go round the back of the bike shed and slap the back of my neck
