Just be careful lowering sizes down as it is a puller especially to a jumped up traffic fed

Yeah mate, my bro has an 8x3 and he usually get's a bit off attention, you cant really see the plate so he just ****s off haha not going to catch him for ****.
8x6 is probably the smallest you will want to go, i've been asked about it but as it's not insanely small they will let you off most likely

It's not the size that's a problem,if the letters are the right size and the space between them is correct then all you have to have is a 12 or 15mm border (can't remember wich) and its totally legal ,I can get away with a small plate coz my plate has a number 1 witch is thin

mines 7x5 doesnt look to small but im running L plates to so may get pulled over more!
last summer use to get pulled all the time for no reason (maybe it was because it was a 50) like id be driving normally nothing wrong
and they'd say we need to run your name through the system had it 3 times in one week once usually take my keys off me and everything! ¬¬
just to tell me i can go on my way 20 minutes later!

Would never have a 9x7 because 8x6 doesn't even look any difference at a glance but looks a tad cleaner.

All plates have to be BS stamped with the manufactures name to show it's a legal plate and you have produced the V5 to get it. So regardless of size, lettering if you haven't got these on them (companies are not going to put the stamp as they will sell it 'for show' use) then you are open for a fine either way.

But I just have 7x5, no stamps or marks and not had a problem yet wouldn't care to be honest just pay the fine and get on with it.

Actually I've just looked the BS stamp is only legal on cars (assume bikes too) after 2001? So don't know for sure about that
