A 135cc engine and a 32mm carb bumps up my fuel usage, the engine I'm working on at the minute, will work out at about 145cc with a 38mm carb, fook knows what I'll be getting from that.

Dunno. Metric mate. Work metric.

I do about 100 miles to a tank. More if I ride economically.

Don't fret over that though. A 4 stroke 125 will do double but they are pance!

Roughly about 50, a tank is 10 litres, 9 litres + 1 litre reserve. I get 110 miles per 10 litre tank =11 miles per litre, x 4.5 = 49.50 miles per gallon of fuel

I wouldn't bother with the 38mm carb nev. I had one on my old dt. It was POO!

It absolutely drank fuel and it had no beneficial gains at all!

It was 170cc Athena kit (waste of money) with full dep and 38mm carb. It was pathetic! Gutless.

Better off with a 34mm flatslide

Oh I'll be fine thanks Callum, the 38mm carb will be set up with the engine I'm building, by someone who I know to be a very good 2 stroke bike mechanic with 35 years experience, he reckons it'll be right for the bike, and so do I.

Probably broken then. O well. Expect a bit of wear and tear like.

Make sure you're twisting it towards you.

Mine does this ,never bothered me in three years,I just look in the tank and judge how much I need,I've had the whole lot stripped to parts and I can't sort it out,so I live with it  at the mo ,still wouldn't sell it ever ashameddisbelief
