Doesn't look as bad as you describe it. Yes the pistons nackered but the bore looks like it could just be rebored.

I suppose to the untrained eye it would look alright. Good thing you know a thing or two about engines norfe lol.

Looks like the same thing that happened to mines so would love to see the work being done. I got one of those double lipped seals of simply bearings. How will I know which way round is the crank side.

Great work as always., Don't mean to jack the thread, just need some clarification. Have you ever found that this bearing can go in by hand? I had to put a bit of Lock tight on and it seems sloid it's a 6302. Just want to know befor I begin building lol!

I see !!! knew I was being a total idiot lol and something wasn't right. Been so long since I stripped the enggine and the bearing just went In there like it was suppposed to be there. My mind set has been hole = bearing lol. Would have been in for a shock when I went to put it together lmao.

Ha Ha lol par for the course for me lol. Its one of the balancer shaft bearings cause I had two of the same kind for some reason, thats what started the confusion. It actually fills the hole perfectly. I was speaking to an engineer at work who hadn't seen it and he said a bit of thread lock will do, won't tell him the truth thoughno

You have to make sure the surfaces are clean before applying the gasket.

The engine is all done now, so i need to get it sent back, but had to pay for a driving corse because i got caught using my phone whilst i was driving, so that took my money i had stashed away for postage. when the engine arrives home i will post some completed pics (or norfe might beat me to it). just a huge compliment in norfes direction, been incredably easy to do buisness with, allways been avalable to help when i had stupid questions etc, if any of u guys are considering norfe for your engine works, then do it. u wont be dissapointed. Thanks again mate, and dont forget to get yourself some "tizer". u northan boys love tizer right?
