Toysoldier btw nice name lol and yeh thats exactly what happend lol so hopefully its only the piston and the rings and hopefully norfe can do it for me :D

its easy to pull apart once youve done it once it wont be so scary next time either plenty of help an guidence here
but if there is bits missing from the piston the engine will need to come out an be flushed with fuel an tipped upside down over and over till you have all your missing bits iv done it a few times on an offroad dt an had no need for the bottom being done


remove seat
remove tank an scoops
remove exhaust
remove the trianganlar hanger an 3 bolts
remove lower water pipe then top water pipes
remove plug cap and temp wire
undo 4 base bolts an lift cylinder off

do it in reverse to put it back together

Two probaly utterly coroded 2 bolts at the rear middle of the seat.

there just behind the rear panels matey on two plastic lugs

where that black line points to the top of rear panels there in your pic

to many saying it needs this and it needs that all from a poor description of what happen along with **** its gona cost a fortune and a full rebuild ?

at the end of the day it needs work ... so get your hands on a socket sett and some spanners and screwdrivers lend em if ya have to ..

and wip that engine out or at most get the head off and then show us some pics of the inside of the head ect.

tank seat plastics off
its simple to take out a engine remove exhaust first then any other bits that unplug or come away by hand carb can be left handing if need be .

you will see the main bolts holding the engine in place top head bracket -back also holding swing arm on -lower front throu fram

once all wires and plugs are unpluged carb off and exhaust the engine lifts out easy and is not realy that heavy one person can easy lift out

and once its out you can send it off or it is easy to take it some where to be fixed no need to transport the entire bike .

Thats the other side of the country from me a good 3 hour odd drive. Come on chaps someone must be a bit closer than me and be able to nip round for a few hours and sort it for him.
