nev m8y what the differance between these other than the obvious different shapes but the descriptions are thesame for both?? which ones which? and how thick are these?
i could easily make these but the drawing for the second one is gonna have to be more in depth. the top left hole will be my X Y 0 datum/start position. but the hole to the top right.. i work on polar radius and polar angle to tell the machine where the hole needs to be drilled. on that drawin the hole has a radius of 45mm thts the distance from the first one (XY0) but ill need to know the angle. 0deg is straight line in x+ to the right. x-to the left would be 180deg straight up in y- would be 90deg ect so a rought guess goin by the pic id say its about 25-30 deg polar angle. ill need to know the exact angle of it to get it spot on. same goes for the bottom right hole. remember i wont have any means of trial fitting these brackets
ok iv made a start on the pv covers today stayed late at work on done this so far took like 2 hours just for that lol hard to work out the start and finish positions of the outer radius cut but getting there ; ) i hope you ****ers still want these! lol
dunno to both questions steve lol ill get it finished first n ill av a bash a programming the engraving bit. cost wise not sure i woulda thought 10-15 quid? sounds reasonable itll be annodisedin a few colours aswell
If you got those powervalve covers finished to a nice standard with YPVS engraved into them then I would pay quite a bit. It's what I've always wanted. the more you can sell the cheaper you can get them for. Personally I would want them to match then end colour. But I'm sure I could spray it myself.
aye can get annodised any colour callum, red, blue, gold, black could prob get purple n green aswell if anywon wanted? if i docengrave them ill do it after theve been annodised so it shows up in a shiney sliver. im gonna run a 45º face mill round the top to put a chamfered edge on it. could do that after annodising aswell to put a shiney band on the front? ill try a few different ways n get some more pics up
ite kl glad to see theres still interest! lol had another bash at it today didnt have long tho, the outer shape is the hardest bit once tht is done the rest is easy, coz im not goin by a proper cad drawing or anything its a bit of a mission its all programmed straight out my head lol i wont take orders just yet ill get prototypes made then ill start a new thread in for sale section ill sticky it up n close it then urll av to either pm me or phone me up on the works number to order and pay. ill see
smithYSM wont be doin bash plates m8 we dont have anything to do with sheet metal stuff only billet/bar milling and turning, soz m8
