Hi guys, looking to change the engine in my bike instead of getting a new one. Just saw a wr200 engine does anyone know if this is the same engine as the dt200r? and will it be a straight swap into my bike?

apparently it is but if you saw the same engine i saw on ebay it hasnt got a top end

Yep bet thats the same engine stillbroke saw it earlier today

The WR200 engine is very similar to the DT200R engine but different, clutch arm is on the other side etc but yes it will drop straight in the 125

I still really do not see the point in this. Buy a WR200 / DT200WR. They have nicer styling, USP forks, motocross style adjustable rear shock etc etc. Whats the point in putting it in a 125 unless your going to ride it illegally as a 125...
