I know its not a DT!! i have a 2010 plate rs 125 which i feel needs a rebuild. its not down on power but it could do with some love. is there anyone from the west ussuex area who has worked on an rs before? i have built a few 172, 125 2 stroke ped engines so im fairly comfident in my abilities, but the rs being geared is a little new to me and id like the gearbox stripped and rebuilt with new plastic balance gears etc

so is anyone out there willing to help out in the future if i pay for the help??

I've worked on RS's. But I don't know everything about them.

Yours doesn't have the RAVE unit or solenoid on it. Definitely worth fitting mate.

Just get stuck in your self, only way to learn. If you have built engines before I doubt you will need to pay someone.

i did toy yes

i have the power valve, solenoid arrow exhaust etc etc so its a full power bike with the 34mm larger type carb.

its about 9.5k miles old so it should be due rings according to the manual. i just fancy giving it some love with a proper going over to make sure all is well as its not as smooth as it once was.

theres a fair few tutorials out there so i may well have a go when my new commuter is sorted. the rs is my transport at the moment as the gilera runner has no tax or mot and currently is in a few bits haha

its always handy to have an extra set of hands to help, more so if they have experience with the bike in question!
