I actually can't think mate! I'm sure they are yeah, will check the bike when I have it back.
Boxing I'm going with them because I really don't have the intention of changing bike or getting my license anytime soon
Unless you can pay in full, avoid them.
It says I have a full license in that date box. Yet I was clear on GoCompare I had a provisional. And if you look it should state their excess, "£950" for me, so if you have a claim against you, you need to pay £950 upfront.
And they want you to send photocopys of your license, letter part and picture part. If you don't send them within two weeks, they cancel your policy.
Other people have had their policies cancelled by them for their cock-ups. Seriously avoid them.

I went with MCE in the end, I found out all this after taking the policy out.
Trust, pay up front in full, you'll be fine. Just don't crash, or its £950 up front, if you're at fault.
They'll throw on cancellation fees etc, if you cancel, and admin fees if your details aren't correct. So make sure everything is correct. Then don't move house or anything.
Or lose money, and if you don't pay the admin fees etc, they get debt collectors to your door.
But its the same with every insurance company.
Its £300-£400 more for another insurance company, so just go with MCE but make sure your details are all correct, and when you crash, make sure you don't hit any vehicles. Then you can't claim.
You'll probably crash (corners low-slide etc), as most of us will. It's inevitable. Whether you're at fault or not though, that's a whole different story. Just make sure you don't speed around.
Everyone has negatives about every single insurance company out there. Because not many people hit up the internet to say how great their insurance company have been, usually they only take to the internet to say bad stuff.
It's like with everything in life, people will have bad experiences, others will have positive experiences.
Another bit of advice, unless you're riding the bike back from the place it's being fixed, don't get insurance out in advance. No point in paying an extra week-months insurance if it isn't needed.

Okay guys so my bike is back next week and just before I get it back I thought I'd do a HPI check on it (yeah bit late I know) just found it was once an insurance right off, is this gonna effect anything when I come to insure the bike? Is there anything I can do to get that changed on the HPI?

The answer is no to the hpi check and yes to the insurance...
If it was a category C write off the the value will drop by at least a 3rd, some insurers won't insure it and if it was a car C then it would need a VIC check..
I'm with them. Unless you're paying in full and won't be changing bikes or getting your full license within a year of taking it out, avoid them at all costs. They're total idiots and want silly money if you change details, in "admin fees"

I've been with them. No problems. Few years ago mind you. Go with benetts. They've always been sound for me.
Bloody hell Liam. How long have they had your bike. Doesn't take more than a week for a shop to fix your bike. What's going on! They doing a full nut and bolt rebuild or summit.
Motorcycles DONT require a vic check like cars do if cat c so it wont say anything on the V5 logbook, it should only affect your insurance if the bike goes missing or is written off again in an accident as the insurance will value it at peanuts.
Thank god for that then! Thanks for all the info guys!
Cal my bike has caused murder in the shop it's been in! Haha walk outs the lot! Guy who's doing it is a work friend and is doing it for free labour so it's not had priority over everything else he's been getting in, another thing which held it back was the wheel spindle was the wrong one! Yeah the wr one I tracked down was the wrong one!! Arghh but it's finally all sorted now! (So I hope) guys said to me it will definitely be done on Saturday, also I believe my forks have been off and the stem has been ground down I've had a lot of work done to this bike! I will have plenty of pictures and videos hopefully this time next week!

Granted. But even I've managed to complete my supermoto setup and usd conversion which has needed many many many machining work done to it. And it's finished. Although has taken long enough. Six months! But that's because I've had to figure out his to do it.
