if i just turn igntion on are the clock lights supposed to light up or will they only turn on when engine running please? 2001 model? cna hear the powervalve turning etc when turned on, but no lights on clocks? also is wiring the headlights like others have done so that power to headlamps is on all time wise? considering doing the wiring mod, but would like some input please?
i blew my dt up ... but i fixed it.... Then i crashed it.... but i didnt fix it right and 2 scouser's come in the middle of the night and left me with a working bike
The DTRE has lights on clocks without engine running. No headlamp only sidelight. Until you fire up then engine then kill it. Once you kill the engine the main beam stays on.
But i don't recall my dtr clock lights doing the same. But none of my electrics worked properly anyway lol. The only way i could start my old dtr is if i turned the ignition whilst kicking.
