I own a DT 125 RE -06. This winter I broke the two indicators in the back, but I'm not sure if I should get two new (used) ones which I found for about 10euros each or if I just should get a new relay and fit some aftermarket indicators since they look better. I tried my friends aftermarket indicators but they would just be light up constant and not flash at all so I figured I need a new relay in that case. It's just easier to get two new genuine ones...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-FLASHER-RELAY-for-YAMAHA-DT-125-RE-/270932135712 think that will do for any aftermarket indicators?
also, where is the relay at on a dt 125 re? and is it just to replace the relay, plug in and ready to go?
Buy dtx indicators. They came standard on my re and look miles bettet IMO. The relay should br where the old two strole tank used to be on the dtr.
Wemoto will sell the dtx ones for about £25. Took them about 3 months and several emails for me to get them though. Ive used wemoto a loy and they were very helpful.
Yea.. I found a place where they sell parts from trashed motorcycles and they had dt indicators for 10euros each. I think I'll contact them and stick with the original ones, since it would be the easiest option.. and they do look quite okay
ahh, I already ordered 2x RE ones cuz they seemd to be exactly the same... But I looked at the trashed dtx'es but they had no indicators for sale from them so I would have had to buy brand new ones which would probably have costed 25euro each :P
